Dr.Shivaraju HP, Asst. Prof. in Environmental Science and Dr.Ravikumar M, Asst. Prof. in Geoinformatics from<br />
Department of Water and Health visited KhonKaen University Thailand from 23rd July to 30th Septembe-<strong>2018</strong><br />
under Faculty Exchange programme.<br />
Dr.Shivaraju HP and Dr.Ravikumar M were awarded international visiting scholar fellowship under the<br />
mentorship of Prof. Pisit, Department of Environmental Science and Prof. PipatReungsang, Department of<br />
Computer Science, KKU, Thailand.<br />

Student Exchange Program<br />
Ms.Harshitha K and Ms.Vibhagopal, MSc students of Environmental Sciences also visited KKU under Student<br />
exchange programme from 23rd July to 30th Septembe-<strong>2018</strong>, that is in the same duration.The students<br />
conducted research work on “Preparation and characterization of rice husk based biochar from heavy metal<br />
remeadiation” and “study on biofilm for biological treatment of wastewater treatment”.<br />
