Baby Oral Health Promotion Clinic (BOHPC)<br />
“Baby Oral Health Promotion Clinic” an extension clinic of Dept of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry at Dept<br />
of Pediatrics, JSS Hospital, is a first of its kind in India where a Pediatrician and Pediatric Dentist together are<br />
providing care under one roof to promote prevention of oral diseases in children.<br />
In this clinic we provide preventive and interceptive oral health care for infants and young children; give age<br />
appropriate guidance for oro- facial injury prevention; Educate parents about implementation of oral hygiene<br />
measures right from infancy; Assess risk factors for early childhood caries and refer those children who are at<br />
high risk for developing early childhood caries to JSS Dental College and Hospital for further treatment.<br />
