“AMALGAMATION” - <strong>Annual</strong> Sports 2017-<strong>2018</strong><br />
<strong>Annual</strong> sports was conducted between 9th January to 10th February <strong>2018</strong>.<br />
The <strong>Annual</strong> College Sports day was carried out on 10 February <strong>2018</strong>. All the athletic events along with Relay<br />
4x100mtrs for men and women, long jump, discus, javelin and shot-put throw were conducted. All the students<br />
and staff of the college participated with great enthusiasm in all the events.<br />
Dr Kushalappa PA, Director Academics of JSS AHER graced the occasion as chief guest. Dr Ravindra S, Principal<br />
and Dr Prasannasrinivas Deshpande, Sports secretary addressed the students gathering and supervised the<br />
smooth conduct of further events. The winners were awarded with trophies, medals and certificates by the<br />
chief guest.<br />
“Chairman’s trophy – All India Dental College T20 Cricket Tournament” - by Rajarajeshwari Dental College,<br />
Bangalore. JSSDC cricket team participated in 2 weeks tournament conducted in Bangalore held on 7th to 9th<br />
March 2017.<br />
JSS AHER sports conducted at University grounds, Mysuru. Various teams of dental college participated and<br />
won the following events held from 15th to 17th March.<br />

PEGASUS <strong>2018</strong>- At CHRISTIAN MEDICAL COLLEGE, VELLORE, TAMIL NADU<br />
A team of 10 members from JSS Dental College and Hospital Mysore participated in the Cultural and Sports Fest<br />
Pegasus <strong>2018</strong> conducted by CMC Vellore from 10th September to 15thSeptember <strong>2018</strong>.The team participated<br />
in the Futsal tournament and athletics. Inthe quarter finals the team faced a defeat after registering 3 wins.<br />
In Athletics the team participated in 100mtrs, 110mtrs hurdles,1500mtrs,long jump, discuss throw.<br />
Mr. Gokul Krishna won silver in the 100 mtrs men’s hurdles<br />
