Turismo de Canarias starts work on the
catering module in La Lajilla beach at Mogán
The work, with a funding of €135,000, is part of a collaboration agreement signed with the Secretary of
State for Turismo.
The Department of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, led by Yaiza Castilla, announced this week that
work has started on a catering module on Costa Alegre beach, La Lajilla, in the municipality of Mogán.

Work was adjudicated last June by the
Department of Tourism Infrastructure,
and has a budget of €135,168, the funds
raised through the collaboration agreement
signed by the Secretary of State for
Tourism, as part of its Tourist Infrastructure
and Facilities Refurbishment Programme.
Work is expected to be completed
within three months.
In the words of Yaiza Castilla, “the refurbishment
and improvements to tourist
facilities represents a guarantee for the
industry to be able to quickly recover
tourist numbers, once safe connections
have been reestablished with our main
markets”.
Specifically, the new module to be installed
comprises three differentiated
areas: kitchen, bar and toilets, providing
catering activities for users and visitors
to the beach.
The successful bidder, Diseño, Desarrollos
e Instalaciones Singulares S.L. (DI-
DEIN), committed to further improvements
to the contract, namely installing
baby-changing facilities in the toilets
and eight photovoltaic light fittings.

restauración de la playa de La Lajilla, en Mogán
Los trabajos, financiados con 135.000 euros, forman parte del convenio de colaboración
firmado con la secretaria de Estado de Turismo.
La Consejería de Turismo, Industria y Comercio, que dirige Yaiza Castilla, anuncia que esta
misma semana se han iniciado las obras para la construcción de un módulo de restauración
en la playa de Costa Alegre, La Lajilla, en el término municipal de Mogán.
Los trabajos, que fueron adjudicados el pasado mes
de junio desde la Dirección General de Infraestructura
Turística, están dotados con un presupuesto de
135.168 euros, financiados con cargo al convenio de
colaboración firmado con la Secretaria de Estado
de Turismo, dentro del Programa de Rehabilitación
de infraestructuras y equipamientos turísticos. Esta
actuación tiene un plazo de ejecución de tres meses.
Según palabras de Yaiza Castilla “la rehabilitación y
mejora de la oferta turística representa una garantía
para que el sector recupere lo antes posible el
volumen de turistas, una vez que se restablezcan
conexiones seguras con nuestros principales mercado”.
En concreto, el nuevo módulo a instalar está constituido
por tres zonas totalmente diferenciadas:
aseos, cocina y bar, lo que permitirá desarrollar la
actividad de restauración a los usuarios y visitantes
de la playa.
La empresa adjudicataria, Diseño, Desarrollos e
Instalaciones Singulares S.L. (DIDEIN), se comprometió,
como propuesta de mejora del contrato, a
colocar cambiadores para bebés en los aseos y a la
instalación de 8 luminarias fotovoltaicas.
