I.3.1 Annual Reports
Since the conferring of candidacy for Accreditation for the MArch program at the School of the Art In-
stitute of Chicago, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago has participated in two annual reports with
statistical data: Annual Report 2008, covering data from the 2007–08 academic year, and Annual Report
2009, covering 2008–09. According to the 2009 Conditions for Accreditation, the APR only needs to
include Annual Reports prior to 2008. As SAIC has no reports prior to this date, none are included here.
Below, however, the official who prepared and submitted the statistical data for SAIC—the Assistant
Director of Academic Administration—verifies the accuracy of the proceeding Annual Reports.
To the best of my knowledge, the statistical data in the two prior NAAB Annual Reports were
accurate and correct at the time they were submitted and no evidence of erroneous or untrue
information has been detected.
The two reports submitted prior are:
o NAAB Annual Report 2007–08, submitted Fall 2008
o NAAB Annual Report 2008–09, submitted Fall 2009
These two reports comprise all the Annual Reports SAIC has had to produce from first seeking
accreditation, to the date of this APR, in anticipation of initial accreditation
