2.2.3. SWIMMING WITH THE
MAGIC MINIS
Set the case you want to go swimming with the Minis,
some rules have to be considered.
n Never go swimming in the sea!
n Only use the kids’ pool
n Maximum amount of children in the pool: 16 Minis
n All children wear swimming armbands
n One entertainer is at the edge of the pool and keeps
the overview over the complete group from the outside.
n The second entertainer is in the water, carries out
the program and also keeps the overview.
n Take care that none of the children is allergic to
chlorine or similar.
n Set the case the group is too large for two entertainers;
choose another wet alternative (water hose,
water bombs etc.) which is also very funny for the
children.
In the Children Club you are always confronted with
everyday situations. Many things are happening you
need to be aware of and react to. You are the model
and idol for the children, use this position and create a
real group which allies with you. You can reach this by
addressing the children directly, making little jokes and
being open.
