Pirate Day
The pirates highlight cannot be missed out in the
holidays; an exciting treasure hunt awaits the children.
Workshop ideas:
“Bandana”
n Material: Old bed linen, water colours, wax crayons,
felt pens, scissors
n Each child gets a triangle piece of tissue (transfer
template to bed linen and cut it out)
n Decorate the triangle using water colours, wax
crayons or felt pens (only for older children)
Superhero Day (Minis & Kids)
Children will dress up as their favourite superhero
and also get their face painted.
Story: One Entertainer is the villain and steals the
MAGIC Glitter. Children need to find her / him in the
hotel and need to fulfil some tasks to get back the
MAGIC Glitter. After they celebrate all together in front
of the MAGIC Radio with a superhero song.
Pirate’s hat made of cardboard
n Material: Cardboard, water colours, wax crayons,
coloured pencils, glitter, glue, scissors, stapler
n Cut a template for the pirate’s hat from card board
n Each child obtains two forms
n Children paint them, decorate them with glitter or
glue decoration on them
n Either stick or staple together
Face painting (eye patch or three day beard)
Treasure hunt
The pirates find a message in a bottle in the MAGIC
Mungo club with a treasure map. The way to the treasure
is indicated on the map. Following the instructions
on the map the pirates start the treasure hunt. At each
station the children have to complete exciting tasks in
order to get the next place. They keep all pieces until
the end, where they will finally find the treasure. After
the treasure hunt all pirates get together and play
funny pirate games.
Kids: Search for the treasure in the whole club and follow
the indications on the treasure map. Obviously they
need to complete various tasks and tests on their way.
