TEENS TIME AN EXAMPLE
(13–16 YEARS IN MAGIC BASIC AND HIGHLIGHT FAMILY & KIDS)
Example, day program Teens Time
09.30–09.45 The Youngsters / Teens entertainer
is either at the morning meeting of the complete entertainment
team or he supports with registrations in the
Children club if a lot is going on. One entertainer can
always hold an information meeting at the public areas
in the club.

n It is important that you can be recognised easily
and the kids do not need to look for you.
n Mostly older youngsters and teens arrive without
their parents; however the registration form is
important and mandatory. Teens whose parents
have not signed the form yet should bring their
parents to the meeting place, without signed form
the teen / child cannot participate in the activities
(due to legal reasons).
n Important also for youngsters and teens
n Completed registration form
n State clearly that the children may come and leave
at any time
n Tell them where the information board is located
and which information is displayed
n Opening times
n Meeting place, meeting points
n Also mention that we respond to the kids’ requests,
thus it might be that we are somewhere else than
stated in the program. However MAGIC Radio
knows where we are.
n Point out special program highlights

in the sea – only if there is green flag

In some clubs there are different slides, the kids and
teens love it.
n Safety is top priority
n Determine rules in advance and consider general
regulations for use of slides and bathing
12.00–15.00 Lunch break
n During this time the youngsters / teens club is closed.
n 12.00–12.30 Preparation (discussion, preparation)
n 12.30 Major meeting with complete entertainment
team
n Lunch with guest contact
n Complete and finish all remaining preparation work
for the afternoon program
n Be punctual for the afternoon program at the teens
meeting point
15.00–17.00 Time for archery or tennis
n Teens need to wear trainers
n Ideally archery entertainer or Kids Club chief joins in
when doing archery
n Safety is always top priority but especially for archery
n The tennis lesson will be conducted by the tennis
trainer, you support him. Should a larger group wish
an alternative; you offer an alternative activity in the
mean time for the rest of the group. This scenario is
only possible for tennis – not for archery!

n This program topic does not only mean that you
are chilling, it is another word for desired activity.
