Johannes Zijlstra is chief scientist of a public company that develops methods
for treatment for heavy metal pollution with red mud waste of the alumina refinery
industry. As a member of the Geochemistry Department of Utrecht University
and specialist on the geochemistry and sedimentology of European flint, he
was invited by Sebastiaan Knippenberg to help with the investigations of the geology
of the chert and flint from Antigua.
