PARSONS – LAUSD Procedures following a Parsons/Subcontractor Incident Incident Definition: any unexpected or unplanned event that results in a personal injury requiring medical treatment beyond first aid, or property damage over $1,000. Near Miss Definition: near misses are incidents where no property was damaged and no personal injury sustained, but where damage and/or injury easily could have occurred. At the Scene: • Provide necessary medical attention to injured worker • Properly secure the scene for an effective investigation Within two (2) hours of an incident, notify the following: • Program Manager, GBU Safety Manager and Program Safety Manager If the incident results in a lost work day case or worse, the GBU President and GBU Safety Manager must be notified. 5/05 Wallet Card (Print front and back on card stock and give to Parsons Personnel) PARSONS – LAUSD For all First Aid cases or Near Miss incidents, notify the Program Safety Manager and Program Manager by the Close of Business Submit an Accident Report Form https://pwebtools.parsons.com/safety • Document everything in the field log book.
