3.3.6 Clean-up <strong>of</strong> PBDEs from particle-ph<strong>as</strong>e samples<br />

Almost all PBDE congeners were detected in fraction 1. Only 2-3 % MBDE183 were<br />

observed in fraction 2. Average recovery rates <strong>of</strong> the purification step were 92 % (MBDE28),<br />

86 % (MBDE47), 85 % (MBDE99), 99 % (MBDE153), 115 % (MBDE183), 91 %<br />

(MBDE209). Detailed results are given in figure 4.<br />
