Mamula Island
One of the most spectacular hotel openings of the year comes from Montenegro. On a small island in the
Bay of Kotor, a 19th-century fortress that once protected access to one of the most important naval
harbours of the Austro-Hungarian Empire has been transformed into a top-class luxury hotel: Mamula
Island. The rooms beautifully blend the historical architecture with contemporary and sophisticated
interior design, while the balconies and terraces offer stunning views of the sea or the Luštica Peninsula.
The hotel features an excellent fine dining restaurant, opportunities for swimming and snorkelling, and
exciting excursions exploring the impressive Bay of Kotor.
