“These patterns are designed as
continuous lines running from
the roof to the exterior walls.
The joineries’ intricacies were
obtained by working with the
contractor to keep the joints as
thin as possible to get an illusion
of a cohesive, unified mass.”
Walking through the door leading into the center
of the building, one will see a green space in the
form of a courtyard to the left. The area is visible
from the office and the conference room. To the
right is the private office of the two owners, which
leads to the swimming pool courtyard situated at
the opposite end of the building.
“The courtyard with green space is intended for
everyone to share and enjoy. It adds a pleasant
atmosphere to the workspace since we want the
lush courtyard to be the surprise space that sets
the atmosphere of the interior program apart from
the outside environment.”
The basic requirement for the design is an office
space with a pleasant and relaxing environment
for the employees’ happiness and well-being. This
courtyard functions as the heart of the program
with its 6-meter height, which brings ample natural
light and thermal comfort to the workspace. The
height of the court is the building’s highest point,
with the swimming pool court being the project’s
lowest plane. The roof’s shape descends from
higher to lower levels, conforming to the design’s
food wrapping film concept.
