วัสดุมุงหลังคาที่มีลักษณะคล้ายกระเบื้องลอนนี้<br />
ถูกคิดค้นขึ้นในฝรั่งเศส เมื่อเกือบร้อยปีก่อน<br />
และได้รับการพัฒนาต่อมาในรัสเซีย ทำาให้<br />

Onduline corrugated sheet was initially<br />
invented in France almost a hundred<br />
years ago. It was later developed in<br />
Russia, making Onduline widely popular<br />
in Europe. The outstanding features are<br />
its beautiful corrugation, strength, and<br />
lightweight. The sheet size is large, about<br />
0.95 x 200 cm, with a thickness of 3 mm,<br />
a corrugation height of 36 mm, and only<br />
6 kg per sheet.<br />
The unique feature of Onduline is that<br />
it is made from cellulose fibers, which<br />
undergo a heat treatment process of<br />
pressing and curling at a temperature<br />
of about <strong>12</strong>0 degrees, then are coated<br />
with paint and moistened with bituminous<br />
compounds, a component of<br />
asphalt or bitumen, all of which give<br />
Onduline advantages in terms of lightness,<br />
soundproofing, and environmental<br />
friendliness, in addition to its weight,<br />
flexibility, and beautiful appearance.<br />
While the disadvantage to consider is a<br />
matter of fire resistance, the material<br />
has a low level of fire safety since it<br />
contains bitumen. There is also a chance<br />
that there will be a smell when exposed<br />
to extreme heat, which comes from the<br />
bitumen used to produce it.<br />
