อาคารศูนย์ศิลปะแห่งชาติไต้หวัน ออกแบบ
โดยทีมสถาปนิก Mecanoo จากเนเธอร์แลนด์
ได้ชื่อว่าเป็นศูนย์ศิลปะการแสดงที่ใหญ่ที่สุดใน
โลกที่อยู่ภายในอาคารเดียว อาคารขนาดกว้าง
116 เมตร ยาว 225 เมตรนี้ มีพื้นที่ใช้งาน
มากกว่า 140,000 ตารางเมตรมีลักษณะทาง
สถาปัตยกรรมเด่นที่หลังคา ที่เป็นพื้นต่อเนื่อง
ชิ้นเดียวในลักษณะรูปทรงอิสระตามสเปซ
ตามฟังก์ชันการใช้งานด้านล่าง หลังคาขนาด
มหึมานี้มีพื้นที่ประมาณ 35,000 ตารางเมตร
BEMO ผู้ผลิตระบบหลังคาจากเยอรมนี เป็นทีม
ดูแลงานก่อสร้างระบบหลังคาตั้งแต่ต้น ทำาให้
แนวคิดในการออกแบบของสถาปนิกเป็นไปได้
ด้วยความสามารถรูปแบบอิสระของ BEMO-
MONRO ที่สามารถทำาชิ้นส่วนที่รองรับหลังคา
รูปทรงพิเศษ
การปรับความคลาดเคลื่อนทั้ง 4 ชั้นในโครงสร้าง

The National Kaohsiung Center for
the Arts in Taiwan, designed by leading
Dutch architecture practice Mecanoo,
is known as the world’s largest performing
arts center under one roof. This
116-meter-wide and 225-meter-long
building has a usable area of more
than 140,000 square meters, covered
by a single, continuous, flowing roof
according to the functions underneath.
This gigantic roof covers an area of
about 35,000 square meters.
BEMO, a roofing system manufacturer
from Germany, was involved from an
early stage, making the architect’s
design intent feasible with its unique
BEMO-MONRO free-form competence,
created to support a specially shaped
roof. BEMO-engineered tolerance
adjustments over the 4 layers in the
800mm roof build-up are based on
3D scans of the as-built structure.
The roof panels were produced onsite
with BEMO mobile technology.
The BEMO MONRO systems allow
the architect to design with complete
freedom, creating multiple shapes of
metal envelopes. The covering materials
are installed with reinforcement profiles
that clamp the BEMO standing seam
watertight roof without any drilling
of the sheets. The system offers easy
positioning of external panels, even in
the presence of complex shapes.

Traditional roof tiles made from teak
wood, Paen Gled, and other shingle
roofs have long been popular with
people who love vernacular architecture
or natural beauty like those tropical
or resort-style buildings. SHERA, the
