Furthermore, the manipulation of the roof’s angles
and details creates a number of interesting architectural
features in the building. For instance,
the roof’s divergent plane enables the architect
to incorporate a skylight above the ridge that
extends from the front to the back, enhancing the
design with another special architectural element.
The building mass deviation resulted in the third
floor’s roof inclining at an angle that correctly
descends towards the ground. This feature allows
the architect to design a stairway that gives users
the sensation of climbing up to the upper floor as
they access the rooftop area.
Everything has been achieved with the design,
where the roof serves as the key factor, creating
visual harmony for the entire architectural structure,
all the while holding meaning, implications
and delivering gimmicks and interesting details to
the building simultaneously.
