PROGRAM OVERVIEW<br />
The Criminal Justice Program provides academically rigorous<br />
education to prepare students for careers in security, law<br />
enforcement, and corrections. Preparation is also provided for<br />
transfer to four-year programs and opportunities<br />
for professional development for those already employed in areas<br />
that are important in the Criminal Justice �eld. In addition to<br />
speci�c content knowledge, students develop critical thinking,<br />
technological, cross-cultural and gender competencies, and<br />
ethical understanding and communication skills.<br />
CAREER OUTLOOK<br />
Graduates of this program qualify for entry-level positions in<br />
security, law enforcement, and corrections in local, state, and<br />
some federal law enforcement agencies.<br />
