Business<br />

The Business Administration Department offers eight academic<br />

programs, placing graduates in a competitive position when<br />

seeking employment or transferring to four-year academic<br />

institutions. Students qualify for entry-level positions within their<br />

areas of concentration.<br />

This program is offered under an agreement with the New England<br />

Laborers Union. Students will transfer college credit for courses<br />

successfully completed during a New England Laborers Union<br />

Training Apprenticeship. <strong>College</strong> credits must be approved by the<br />

American Council on Education (ACE) and it is the responsibility<br />

of the student to obtain ACE approval.<br />

OPTION OVERVIEW<br />

This option allows individuals in the vocational �eld to build on<br />

their apprenticeship training to earn a college degree. Students<br />

can earn transfer credit for courses that are approved by the<br />

American Council on Education. Students learn business skills<br />

that could be combined with their specialized skills to create<br />

opportunities for self-employment or for career advancement and<br />

career mobility.<br />

CAREER OUTLOOK<br />

This option prepares graduates to start and manage a small<br />

business, and to move into management and supervisory<br />

positions.<br />
