CONCENTRATION OVERVIEW<br />
This concentration prepares students to transfer to four-year<br />
colleges or universities to seek bachelor’s degrees in theatre arts,<br />
theatre education (elementary or secondary), early childhood<br />
education, literature/drama, public speaking, or communication.<br />
Students should complete requirements for the associate’s degree<br />
before transferring to a four-year institution for the bachelor’s<br />
degree. Graduates of this concentration may qualify to transfer<br />
using bene�ts of MassTransfer to a four-year state college or<br />

CAREER OUTLOOK<br />
Graduates of this concentration with a strong theatre background<br />
qualify for careers in all aspects of print and broadcast journalism;<br />
radio/TV production; dance and expressive movement; art and<br />
art therapies, as they are related to counseling and psychology;<br />
elementary and secondary teaching; communication; and<br />
literature.<br />
