Biofertilizer Emas<br />
The function of this fertilizer is to increase the efficiency of fertilizer application (N, P, and<br />
K). The bioactivator of this biofertilizer is bacteria: Azospirilium lipoferum, Azotobacter beijerinckii,<br />
Aeromonas punctata, and Aspergilus niger. It is used mostly <strong>for</strong> estate crops.<br />
Biofertilizer RhiPhosan<br />
This biofertilizer is used to improve the nitrogen fertilizer from the air and to promote the<br />
liquidation of P and C fertilizer in the soil. It can also produce photohormonal Indol Acetate<br />
Acid (IAA), which will increase root growth. Its bioactivators are Brandyrhizobium joponicum<br />
and Aeromonas punctata. It is used mostly <strong>for</strong> secondary crops and cover crops.<br />
Organic Decomposer OrgaDec<br />
OrgaDec is a bioactivator that decomposes the organic materials in a short period of time<br />
and is antagonistic to some root diseases. It consists of Trichoderma pseudokoningii and Cytophaga<br />
sp. OrgaDec is used mostly to decompose organic material with a high cellulose content<br />
(cocoa and palm tree waste, paddy straw, leaves, bud, and other materials).<br />
Plant Regulator NoBB<br />
NoBB consists of a plant regulator which can stimulate the function of cambium <strong>for</strong> cell<br />
fission and recovery of latex vessels. It also helps in the recovery of the skin of the rubber tree<br />
from Brown Bast. NoBB can be used to increase the productivity of rubber estates.<br />
Biofungicide Greemi-G<br />
Greemi-G consists of two green microbes (Trichoderma harzianum and Trichoderma pseudokoningii)<br />
which can be used to manage the impact of Ganoderma <strong>for</strong> palm oil trees, JAP <strong>for</strong><br />
rubber and Phytophthora <strong>for</strong> cocoa.<br />
Bioinsecticide BioMeteor<br />
The bioactivator of this product is Metharhizium anisopliae, which can manage plant pests<br />
in soil, such as Dorystheness sp. (bokor tebu) and Xystrocera festiva (bokor sengon).<br />
Bioinsecticide NirAma<br />
NirAma consists of the bioactivator Paecilomyces fumosoroseus. It is used mostly to manage<br />
plant pests such as Heliopeltis antonii, fire worm, Ectropis bhurmitra, Antitrygodes divisaria,<br />
Hyposidra talaca, Metanastria hyrta, Homona coffearia, Poicilocorys sp., Spodoptera litura,<br />
and Meloidogyne sp.<br />
In summary, it can be seen that there are many biotechnology products based on applied<br />
microbiology in Indonesia, all of which together constitute a small but growing industry. The<br />
production and marketing experience gained from this aspect of biotechnology can provide a<br />
basis <strong>for</strong> the expansion of more modern biotechnology applications.<br />
