bowed trem sul pont effect. Two alto flutes play. After a half rest in Bar 1, alto flute I<br />

plays mp < >Line 1 Eb [written Ab] tenuto 8 th short gliss wavy line to Db [written Gb]<br />

8 th tied to quarter note. Alto flute II plays Cb [written Fb] tenuto 8 th gliss line to small<br />
