Denmark - On 8 August, the Danish "Blood & Honour" division failed to<br />

hold an "International Rudolf Heß Memorial March" in the<br />

town of Svendborg on Langeland Island (Denmark). The assembly<br />

of some 100 persons, including about 40 German<br />

participants, was broken up by the police after a few minutes.<br />

- Another related demonstration was initiated at the headquarters<br />

of the "Dansk National Socialistiske Bevægelse"<br />

(DNSB - "Danish National-Socialist Movement") in Greve<br />

(Denmark) on 15 August. Since the march started already at<br />

7.00 a.m., there were only small numbers of participants.<br />

Sixty to seventy Germans are reported to have been among<br />

the 120 demonstrators.<br />

Switzerland - On 14 August, some 150 neo-Nazis from France, the Netherlands,<br />

Switzerland and Germany assembled in the vicinity<br />

of the German Embassy in Berne. The right-wing extremists<br />

did not succeed in getting near the Embassy. After a short<br />

speech regarding Rudolf Heß had been read, the police<br />

ended the action within a couple of minutes.<br />

Czech Republic - On 21 August, approx. 250 right-wing extremists, among<br />

them some 10 Germans, met in Prague to commemorate the<br />

same occasion. The police dissolved the prohibited meeting.<br />

- Some 150 activists from several countries, including about<br />

50 persons from Germany, travelled to Diksmuide (Belgium)<br />

to take part in a right-extremist "comradeship meeting"<br />

alongside this year's 72 nd "IJzerbedevaart" [pilgrimage to the<br />

IJzertoren (Iron Tower)] of Flemish patriots on 28/29 August.<br />

- The "23 rd Guest Week" of the "Freundeskreis Ulrich von Hutten<br />

e.V." and of the "Deutsche Kulturgemeinschaft Österreich"<br />

was held, as a private meeting, in Altenberg (Saxony)<br />

during the period of 11-18 September, under the direction of<br />

an Austrian right-extremist woman. During the ’guest week’,<br />

also a general assembly of the "Notgemeinschaft für Volkstum<br />

und Kultur e.V." was held. The opening of this meeting,<br />

held under the motto "The Life System of Preservation of<br />

Species in Nature and Civilization", was attended by some<br />

150 Germans and Austrians.<br />

Austria - On 2/3 October, a small number of like-minded Germans<br />

took part in an international meeting of right-wing extremists,<br />

which was held in Klagenfurt (Austria) alongside the<br />

traditional "Ulrichsberg Meeting".<br />

Junge Nationaldemokraten - The "Junge Nationaldemokraten" (JN - "Young National-<br />

Democrats") held their "6 th European Youth Congress" in<br />

Falkenberg (Bavaria) on 30 October. The approx. 500 participants<br />

included a number of guests from Austria, France,<br />

Greece, Italy, Ireland, Lithuania, Romania, Sweden and the<br />
