Information technology in the Sava Group is understood
as a strategic function that accompanies the
development of a business system. We are aware of the
fact that providing suitable information support
contributes to the implementation of set goals. The
efficient performance of informatics at Sava is therefore
understood as a tool for creating added value and the
simultaneous management of risks that occur.
In the future we will upgrade the present system through
the introduction of tested models for management
(COBIT, ITIL). The suitable management of
informatics and coordination of its development with
the business strategy of the company are the
prerequisites for information technology to be able to
contribute to the return on assets invested and gain an
advantage over our competitors.
The central focus in the area of information technology
was on providing efficient information support for the
decision-making process at all management levels in the
Sava Group, as well as secure operation of the

The strategic information platform of integral information support in the Sava Group was established by the
successful introduction of an integrated computer programme SAP R/3 in Rubber Manufacturing and
Tourism in Bled. Last year we began to introduce the SAP system and the ROS hotel catering system in the
group of hotels operating under the Pannonian Spa brand.

Group the Manager Information System (MIS) was
introduced, which facilitates the pursuit of the most
important business indicators and enables comparisons
with the planned values and results from previous years.
MIS was additionally upgraded with the function of
enabling the monitoring of profitability of individual
products and customers.
An important milestone in the introduction of
informatics was that of a treasury SAP module at the
Group level to manage assets in a more efficient way.
We have successfully completed the project of renewing
informatics in the companies operating under the Sava
Hotels&Resorts Bled brand and establishing a
functional link between the hotel catering system ROS
and SAP modules for finance and controlling.
In the safety area we outlined the basis and measures for
providing safety of information system operation in the
Sava Group and standardised the virus protection
system throughout the Group. We will further centralise
the management of our information system.
