Grand Hotel Toplice d.o.o. Bled and Bled High School
for Catering and Tourism raised funds by selling tickets
and donated the proceeds to Bled Tourism Society for
the protection of swans. Sava Hotels Bled and Bled
Tourism Society honoured the Day of Earth and the
100 th anniversary of the Slovene Tourist Association in
the park of Vila Hotel Bled by planting the symbol of
Slovenia – a lime tree.
Environmental indicators
We regularly monitor environmental indicators and
introduce measures to decrease the impact of our
operations on the environment in individual companies
and at the level of the entire Sava Group.
The following environmental indicators are measured
on a monthly basis:
Environment management certificate ISO 14001: 2004 for Terme
Radenci
• energy consumption;
• drinking water consumption;
• water pollution;
• air pollution;
• space occupied by stored waste;
• use of hazardous substances; and
• noise.
Responsible handling
The Responsible Handling Programme is the Slovene
name for the international initiative from the chemical
industry called Responsible Care. The Chemical
Industry Association at the Slovene Chamber of
Commerce and Industry granted the right to use the
Responsible Care logo to 18 companies. The companies
of the Sava Group Savatech d.o.o. and Sava-Schäfer
d.o.o. have been granted this right repeatedly.
