That the Nick Smelting Company of Chestnut
Street be restrained from plant operations between the hours of 9 p.m. and
6 a.m. daily due to the excessive oil furnace burner hum and operation which
causes strong vibrations, annoyance and distress.to the abutting home owners
and their tenants resulting in loss of. sleep and. discomfort during all hours
of the night while the plant is in operation under the present conditions.

That the sura of ten thousand five hundred
($10,300) dollars je transferred from Excess and Deficiency to the Sanitary
Department, Ordinary Maintenance Account, Special Item for the purchase from
War Surplus supplies of 12 new 2£ ton army type ten wheel chassis for use in
the Sanitary Department.
