I respectfully request that your Honorable Board amend
Chapter XL111 of the Revised 'Ordinances of~the City of_Somerville, covering
office hours in City Hall, by striking out said section'and substituting the
following section therefor:
CHAPTER XLHl
Section 1. The offices at the City Hall shall be kept open to the
public daily (Sunday and legal holidays and Saturdays during the months of
June, July and August excepted) as follows;
The office of the treasurer and collector of taxes, Saturdays from
&.30 A.M. to 12 M., except during the months of June, ijuly and August; other
days from g.30 A.M. to 4-.30 P.M. ' •
The offices of the Board of Public Welfare, City Engineer, Election
Commission, Sealer of Weights and Measures, Board of Assessors, Auditor,
City Clerk, ffater Dept., sanitary D ept. Clerk of Committees, Highway Dept.,
Building Dept., Law Dept., Executive Dept., Board of Health, Retirement Board,
Licensing Commission, and all other departments in City Hall, including the
office of Veterans 1 Aid and Pensions Dept., outside City Hall, Saturdays from
g.3p A.M. to 12 M., except during the months of June, July and August> and
other days from g.30 A.M. to 4-.30 P.M.

50_pltman Street and 621 and 621-R "Somerville Avenue and'ha've ordered it demolished
as a ,menace_to_t he_ publAc _ health and safety..
Several communications were made to the" owners of this property
the last being a registered letter on July £5, 19*^6 with a return receipt re
quested and no reply has been received from them.
