week for the balance of the year.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen: i
I respectfully request your approval to the transfer
of $2^,000.00 from Excess and Deficiency to Fire Department, Special Item,
Equipment, for the purchase of a new 65 foot aerial ladder truck with booster
pump, closed cab, a generator lighting unit, manual raised ladders of various
lengths, life net and other appurtenances, for use In the Teele Square Fire
Station.
The Chief Engineer of the Fire Department advises
that after order is given for purchase of this new ladder, that it might take
about 35° working days before delivery. Under the circumstances, it Is advisable
to have some kind of protection during the meantime, and I hope that your
