The Recreation Commission respectfully requests transfer
of $1,14-02 from the Recreation Commission personal Services Account to the
Recreation Coniralsslon Equipment Account. Supplemented by the existing balance
In the Equipment Account this transfer would enable the Commission to
ESR;MP
procure Motion Picture Projector and Screen, which have been
needed but not procurable for the past five years;
procure two portable,-collapsible Boxing Rings, the lack of
which is the chief impediment to the existing program in
Boxing Instruction;
Replace the worn-out Station Wagon; which — having been purchased
second-hand four years ago for $500 — has saved the
City about $2,000 In trucking costs and about $1350 in automobile
maintenance but which is,now beyond use; by a new one
which in the next ten years, at same rate,.would save $5,000
ija trucking costs and $1250 in automobile maintenance.
