mounted on rubber tires, from the War Assets Administration, the original
price of the pump when purchased by the government being $1200.00.

I herewith respectfully request your approval to purchase
one U. S. Government owned ^-inch gasoline pump, mounted on rubber t-Lres : , for
the sum of $262.00. I
This pump was loaned to the Somerville Fire Department) for
use during Civilian Defense activities and must now be returned to the War
Assets Board or else purchased for the above quoted amount. | i
This pump was bought by the U. S. Government four years
ago for the sum of $1200.00, and I would recommend the purchase of this equipment
for the use of the Sewer Division. i i
The pump can be purchased from available department funds
In Sewers Maintenance Ordinary Maintenance Account.
