Alderman Mallard offered the following order,
Ordered:
The Commissioner of Streets is hereby instructed
to replace the one-way street signs on Teele Avenue so that the present traf-
fic ordinance which permits operation of vehicles on Teele Avenue in a north-
westerly directlon_ from Packard Avenue to Curtis Street only may be effective
and enforced.

Alderman Pickett offered the following orders,
Ordered;
That Chapter 339, Acts of 19*16 of the general
Court of Massachusetts, authorizing Increases of the amounts of pensions paya-
ble to certain former public employees who have been retired, is hereby ac-
cepted by the City of Somerville.

Ordered:
That the Commissioner of Electric Lines and
Lights make a study and report back to the Board of Aldermen relative to in-
etalllng lights at the Junction of Medford Street and the Northern Artery.
Adopted.
Alderman Ryan offered the following order,
Ordered:
That the Mayor arrange a conference with the
Mayor of Boston and officials of the Boston and Maine Railroad and the Boston
Elevated Railway Company, and arrange the widening of the_two bridges from
Boston, to Mystic Avenue and to Broadway, not only to alleviate the present
traffic situation, but to care for the added burden which will be placed on
these arteries as a result of the new trackless trolleys.
Adopted.
A motion to reconsider all financial matters was lost.
