12.9.1 Synchronization character
SE/PORT Configuration Parameters
For COP protocol only.
The hexadecimal value of the synchronization character. The Synchronization Character
must be different from the Idle that has been defined for the COP port, or synchronization
cannot be achieved. For example, if the Synchronization Character is 0000 then the Idle
parameter cannot be set to SPACE. If the Synchronization Character is set to FFFF, then
the Idle must be set to SPACE to get the port working. The following table summarizes
these requirements:
12.9.2 Number of desynch. character
For COP protocol only.
This parameter defines the number of contiguous desynchronization characters that must
be received before the NetPerformer drops synchronization and closes the frame.
