13.1.11 SDLC transmission window size
13.1.12 XID support
Console SNMP Text-based Config
SDLC transmission window
size
puSdlcWindow [pu#] SdlcWindow
For all PU modes with an SDLC connection.
Transmission window size.
Values: 1 - 7
Default: 7
Console SNMP Text-based Config
XID support puXid [pu#] Xid
For SDLC-SDLC and SDLC-LINKS modes only.
PU exchanges identification. This parameter determines whether the PU expects to
exchange PU identification with the device it is connected to, and ensures the identity of
the remote PU in SNA applications. Set to NO if the PU does not support XID.
Values: NO, YES
Default: YES
13.1.13 Suppress DM upon disconnection
Console SNMP Text-based Config
Suppress DM upon disconnection
puSuppdDmDisc [pu#] SuppdDmDisc
For PUs associated with secondary SDLC (S-SDLC) ports.
This parameter controls the transmission of a Disconnect Message (DM) frame. A DM is a
Disconnect Message sent from the secondary station (controller) to the primary station
(host). It tells the primary that the secondary is in disconnect mode.
When set to YES, a DM frame is suppressed rather than transmitted. This prevents the S-
SDLC PU from replying to a frame from the primary PU with a DM frame. This setting
may be useful for a PU4-to-PU4 connection when the configuration is downloaded using
SIM (Set Initialize Mode) messages.
When set to NO, the PU processes Disconnect Messages like a regular SDLC PU.
Values: NO, YES
Default: NO
