The PORT or SLOT submenu of the SETUP console command includes all parameters<br />

required to configure an R-ASYNC port.<br />

If you are using SNMP, the required configuration variables are grouped under the ifwan<br />

category. For text-based configuration the [ifwan#] heading is used, where # represents<br />

the number of the port or channel.<br />

An R-ASYNC port can be configured on a built-in serial port or a serial port on a Dual<br />
