This configuration is particularly useful for limiting the number of frames generated by<br />
the interconnected links. A type 20 IPX frame entering at Net4 is duplicated on the other<br />
three links of RT4. This is the case for each router that has an internal address. As a result,<br />
instead of having one frame on output at Net3, there could be as many as 7 frames if all<br />
four routers have an internal address. One frame would be generated for each possible<br />
path that passes over the same router no more than once (Exception: the router from which<br />
the frame came, RT4, can be selected twice since the initial frame transmission is not<br />
counted).<br />
