20 TRAJES 20 VESTITS 20 DESIGNS

Creatividad es el nexo común que une literatura y moda.
La imaginación es el punto de partida de dos artes que
se dan la mano en esta muestra que presentamos en
Barcelona, que pone traje a los personajes que 20 obras
literarias evocan en la mente del lector.
Los diseñadores que participamos en 20 Trajes, todos
pertenecientes a la Asociación Creadores de Moda de
España, interpretamos grandes obras de la literatura
uniendo estas dos creaciones.
Partiendo del negro sobre blanco, la palabra se materializa
a través de la costura. Poniendo de relieve una unión
indisoluble entre dos disciplinas que se desenvuelven
alrededor de la estética.
Con una visión de la moda como parte fundamental del
engranaje cultural, concebida como una industria cultural,
los diseñadores hemos buscado aunar lo mejor de
nuestra literatura y nuestra moda a través del lenguaje de
formas, volúmenes y colores.
Grandes personajes y obras de la literatura cobran vida
en esta exposición. Dulcinea del Toboso, o la Reina de
las Nieves se presentan ante nosotros vestidas de Moda
Española.
En cada relato, poema o novela, la palabra actúa como
fuente de inspiración para los creadores de moda, que en
esta muestra, hacen realidad la ficción.

Creativity is the common link uniting literature and
fashion. Imagination is the starting point for both art
forms, which come together in this exhibition we are
presenting in Barcelona, dressing the characters that 20
works of literature evoke in the mind of their readers.
We, the twenty designers taking part in 20 Designs
(all of us members of the Association of Creators of
Spanish Fashion), present here our interpretation of
great works of literature, thereby fusing these two
creative worlds.
With plan black on white as the starting point, the word
finds material form through couture, highlighting the
unbreakable bond between the two disciplines, which
both revolve around aesthetics.
With our view of fashion as a key component of our
cultural nexus and as a cultural industry, we, the
designers, have sought to combine the very best of our
literature and our fashion through the language of shape,
volume and colour.
Leading literary figures and works come to life in this
exhibition, in which Dulcinea del Toboso and the Snow
Queen appear before us dressed in Spanish fashion.
In each tale, poem and novel, the word acts a source
of inspiration for the fashion designers who, in this
exhibition, turn fiction into reality.
