Quando centinaia di animatori, provenienti dai
migliori villaggi turistici di Italia e Croazia, si ritrovano
per celebrare la fine della stagione estiva,
insieme agli ospiti più affezionati, la festa non può che
essere unica ed entusiasmante!
Ed è proprio questo SamCruise, in navigazione da Civitavecchia
a Barcellona e ritorno, dove ogni momento
del viaggio e della permanenza nella capitale catalana è
divertimento alla massima potenza.
L’edizione 2012 svoltasi dal 27 al 30 ottobre a bordo della
Cruise Roma, è stata organizzata da Samarcanda, tra i
principali marchi di qualità dell’animazione turistica italiana,
che ha voluto replicare il successo della precedente
edizione 2011.
Il serratissimo programma della manifestazione ha interpretato
al meglio l’head-line di Grimaldi Lines: Il viaggio
è già vacanza. Ogni angolo della nave è stato infatti
contagiato dall’entusiasmo e dall’allegria dei partecipanti
che hanno incoronato allo Smaila’s i migliori animatori
della stagione, gremendo la discoteca Planetarium fino
alle prime luci del mattino con serate a tema e affollando
la cafeteria per il torneo di Texas Hold’em e invadendo il
ponte piscina con happening improvvisati.
Le cerimonie ufficiali si sono svolte nella sala conferenze
mentre i più piccoli si divertivano con il Mago Gennarino
e il miniclub Samarcanda nella Sala Lupa.
Inoltre, grande interesse ha suscitato il primo talent-show
riservato agli animatori: si sono esibiti in otto, ciascuno
proponendo una disciplina diversa, chi la clownerie e chi
il canto, chi il contorsionismo e chi le imitazioni. La vincitrice
è stata una cantante lirica, Mariarita Misuraca, che
ha affascinato e conquistato tutti con la sua tecnica e la
sua voce pulita e intensa.
Ospite di riguardo per tutta la durata della minicrociera è
stato Fabio De Vivo, volto noto di La3 e DJ molto apprezzato
tra il pubblico dei più giovani. Oltre ad aver suonato
per due sere al Planetarium, intervistando i partecipanti

When hundreds of entertainers from the
best holiday villages in Italy and Croatia
get together to celebrate the end of the summer
season, together with their most loyal guests, the
party is always going to be unique and exciting!
And this sums up SamCruise, sailing from Civitavecchia
to Barcelona and back, where every moment of
the trip to the Catalan capital is sheer fun.
The 2012 edition took place from October 27 to
30 on board the Cruise Roma and was arranged by
Samarcanda, one of the leading quality brands in Italian
tourism and leisure organisation, who were determined
to reproduce the success of the previous edition in 2011.
The packed programme of events epitomised Grimaldi
Lines’ slogan: Your holiday starts on board. Every
inch of the ship was humming with the enthusiasm
and party mood of the participants. The season’s
best entertainers were announced at Smaila’s, the
Planetarium disco was rocking until the early hours of
the morning, there were theme nights, a popular Texas
Hold’em tournament in the cafeteria and big crowds
on the pool deck to see the improvised happenings.
The official ceremonies were held in the conference
room while the kids had fun with Gennarino
the magician and the other Samarcanda miniclub
activities in the Sala Lupa room.
Also, there was a great reception for the first talent
show reserved for holiday village entertainers: there
were eight of them, each offering a different form of
performing art: a clown, a singer, a contortionist, an
impersonator and so on. The winner was Mariarita
Misuraca, an opera singer who thrilled everyone
with her technique and clear, strong voice.
The special guest on the mini-cruise was Fabio
De Vivo, the La3 presenter and a DJ who is very
popular with the younger generation. In addition
to playing for two nights at the Planetarium and
interviewing participants for his television programmes,
Fabio was also the guest star at the soirée at Club
Catwalk in Barcelona, where all the SamCruise
participants took part in a huge Moustache Party.
The climax of the event was in the afternoon
