MEET & MATCH
Aber auch jenseits solcher konkreten Anknüpfungspunkte wurde das „Meet & Match“ für
längerfristige Projektplanungen und zum Netzwerken genutzt. Das Projekt „Europäische
Förderungen und Partner“ brachte Institutionen aus Nordrhein-Westfalen mit potenziellen
Projektpartnern aus ganz Europa zusammen, um EU-Programme wie Horizon2020, Creative
Europe oder den Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) besser zu
nutzen. Zudem stellte das European Creative Business Network (ECBN), dem auch diverse
Institutionen aus Nordrhein-Westfalen angehören, seine Arbeit vor und bot Anknüpfungsmöglichkeiten
an aktuelle Aktivitäten wie Vernetzungen von Creative Hubs bis hin zum
Umgang mit dem Juncker-Investment-Fond an. Des Weiteren stellte das – vom Arts Council
England, Arts Council of Ireland, Creative England, ecce und der European Cultural
Foundation finanzierte – europäische Forschungsprojekt die Ergebnisse ihrer Studie „Cultural
and creative spillovers in Europe: Report on a preliminary evidence review“ vor und
regionale und europäische Gäste des Forums diskutieren konkrete Forschungsvorhaben für
2016.
Im kommenden Jahr soll dieses besondere Dialogformat ausgeweitet werden, um diese „laborhaften“
Möglichkeiten der europaweiten Plattform Forum d‘Avignon Ruhr noch stärker
zu nutzen.
But even beyond such concrete points of contact, the “Meet & Match” format was the ideal
platform for long-term project planning and networking as well. The project “European
Funding and Partners” brought together institutions from North Rhine-Westphalia and potential
project partners from all over Europe to make better use of EU programmes such as
Horizon 2020, Creative Europe or the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). In
addition, the European Creative Business Network (ECBN), to which various institutions
from North Rhine-Westphalia belong, presented its work and offered opportunities to join
current activities such as connecting Creative Hubs or dealing with the Juncker-Investment-Fund.
Furthermore, the European research project jointly funded by the Arts Council
England, the Arts Council of Ireland, Creative England, ecce and the European Cultural
Foundation presented the results of their study “Cultural and creative spillovers in Europe:
Report on a preliminary evidence review”, and regional as well as European Forum guests
discussed specific research projects for 2016.
Next year, this special dialogue format will be expanded to make even better use of the
“lab-like” opportunities that the Europe-wide platform Forum d’Avignon Ruhr offers.
