5% of people in Germany develop colon cancer – but in most cases this initially
occurs without symptoms. Unfortunately, too few undertake medically recommended
preventive care. That’s why since March the medical platform easytest has been
offering a preventive test kit to use at home.
Easytest home tests bring the same standard
digitally that general practitioners and gastroenterologists
use for preventive examinations.
Testing takes place at home using
certified sampling materials. The process is
now even easier for patients, as the test can
be ordered directly at home. With the help of
understandable instructions, the patient takes
the sample and sends it back to the partner
laboratory in a prepaid return envelope. The
testing method and laboratory analysis are
identical to the tests carried out by doctors.
Only accredited laboratories with many years
of experience are accepted as partners.
With the vision of solving the problem of
medical undersupply in everyday health, Nico
Hribernik and Dr. Manuel Nothelfer founded
the Wellster Healthtech Group (formerly
Direct Health Service) in Munich in 2018. Since
then, Wellster Healthtech has developed into
a portfolio company that, in addition to Spring
for men‘s health, also operates easy (mental
health) and easytest (medical home tests) as
portals for holistic digital health solutions.
Since the launch of the first platform in mid-
2019, more than 1,000,000 online consultation
hours and more than 100,000 treatments have
been completed in less than 2 years.
Dr. Sven Jungmann, member of the medical
advisory board of Wellster and easytest, said:
“Many people have difficulties with preventive
examinations, often because they feel in top
shape and have no symptoms. Nonetheless,
based on years of medical research, it is recommended
to take this screening test, especially
if you are at risk or over 50 years old. It
is important that people have easy access to
life-saving preventive care.”

of age should repeat the test annually – easytest
even offers a prevention subscription so
