A four foot starter roll of insulation is recommended to maintain the insulation joint ahead of the sheeting<br />

edge. Seal insulation sidelap joints with adhesives or fold and staple per manufacturer’s instructions. As<br />

on the walls, the general sequence is to install the roof sheets in conjunction with the insulation.<br />

The insulation sidelap must be sealed to prevent condensation and minimize temperature loss at laps.<br />

NOTE:<br />

Wipe oil and other slippery substances from roof panels. Do not step on rib of panel, near a<br />

crease in the panel,near a side edge or within fi ve feet of the end of unsecured panel. Use<br />

OSHA approved tie offs, netting or rails when working on roof. Insulation has no load bearing<br />

strength. Maintain body weight on approved scaffold or walk boards.Safety fi rst!<br />
