The Trust is involved with a wide range <strong>of</strong> training<br />

and development activities in the Mgeni Valley part<br />

<strong>of</strong> KwaZulu, with specific reference to socioeconomic<br />

issues. Consequently, health,<br />

agriculture, water supplies and sanitation receive<br />

major emphasis. On site technical training (in the<br />

Mgeni Valley) as part <strong>of</strong> the course work is<br />

undertaken for rainwater systems, spring protection<br />

and VIP toilet construction. Trainees are drawn<br />

from many parts <strong>of</strong> South Africa. Training courses<br />

are also provided for <strong>of</strong>fice bearers <strong>of</strong> development<br />

committees and water committees<br />

World Vision <strong>of</strong> Southern Africa, World Vision provides on site training with regard<br />

Emmaus Community Project,<br />

(specifically spring protection and ferro-cement<br />
