2 From the system menu / counter menu, press the<br />

or key to select [User/Job Account].<br />

3 Press the OK key. The User/Job Account menu<br />

appears.<br />

This enables user login administration. Select one of the following authentication methods:<br />

Item Description<br />

Local<br />

Authentication<br />

Network<br />

Authentication<br />

Use the procedure below to enable user login administration.<br />

User authentication based on user properties on<br />

the local user list stored in the machine.<br />

User authentication based on Authentication<br />

Server. Use a user property stored in<br />

Authentication Server to access the network<br />

authentication login page.<br />

NOTE: Refer to Character Entry Method on Appendix-8 for details on entering characters.<br />
