Power On/Off Power On When the main power indicator is lit... When the main power indicator is off... Power Off Off On 2-7 Press the Power key. Turn the main power switch on. Preparation before Use IMPOR<strong>TA</strong>NT: When turning off the main power switch, do not turn on the main power switch again immediately. Wait more than 5 seconds, and then turn on the main power switch. Before turning off the main power switch, press the Power key on the operation panel to off. Make sure that the memory indicator is off before turning off the main power switch. Make sure that the indicator is off. On Off 2
In case of not using the machine for a extended period of time 2-8 Preparation before Use CAUTION: If this machine will be left unused for an extended period (e.g. overnight), turn it off at the main power switch. If the machine will not be used for an even longer period of time (e.g. vacation), remove the power plug from the outlet as a safety precaution. If using the products equipped with the fax function, note that turning the machine off at the main power switch disables fax transmission and reception. IMPOR<strong>TA</strong>NT: Remove paper from the cassettes and seal it in the paper storage bag to protect it from humidity.
