Compliance with National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) at ORNL is achieved and maintained in<br />

conjunction with NEPA compliance. The scope of proposed actions is reviewed in accordance with the<br />

Cultural Resource Management Plan (<strong>DOE</strong> 2001). A Section 106 consultation of the Act was completed<br />

for the demolition of Buildings 3008, 3012, 3044, 3503, 3504, 3508 and 3592. The State Historic<br />

Preservation Officer had no objection to implementing actions for the demolition of these buildings (letter<br />

to <strong>DOE</strong>-<strong>ORO</strong>, August 20, 2009).<br />
