Daniele Perazzi, president of the company,<br />
established a shotgun manufacturing<br />
enterprise in Italy bearing his name in 1957.<br />
The company philosophy is unchanged: to<br />
produce premium quality shotguns for target<br />
shooting and hunting. This philosophy has<br />
resulted in numerous medals and championships<br />
in all levels of competition. For example,<br />
in Beijing 2008 Olympics Perazzi took 11<br />
of 15 medals in shotgun disciplines.<br />

We will have the chance to see many MX8<br />
and MX2000/8 but the growth of high<br />
adjustable rib guns in the last years with<br />
models MX2000/3, MX2005 and MX2008 will<br />
affect the percentage of our models. The mix<br />
of them I would not forecast.<br />
so you do not have a new model shotgun<br />
for 2012?<br />
Actually the MX8 is a classic gun. It was<br />
conceived and developed for the Mexico City<br />
Olympics 1968. But in Perazzi, the model<br />
year does not mean anything: every year we<br />
apply some small changes in order to have<br />
improved guns to offer to our customers.<br />
Perazzi guns are custom built for their users.<br />
MX8 action is a good, solid, proven design.<br />
It is a timeless shotgun but after the Olympic<br />
Games Perazzi will offer to the shooters<br />
some really interesting news!<br />

I am not a clairvoyant, but in the last major<br />
competition 85 % of medal winners were<br />
shooting Perazzi.<br />

Spanish target manufacturer Corsivia<br />
introduced a new target called Corsivia<br />
Green Dream. It’s development work started<br />
in 2006. They are completely free of PAH<br />
(Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) and bitumen.<br />
The Green Dream is made of natural<br />
colophony. Only non-toxic paints are use to<br />
give its color. Corsivia has been in business<br />
since 1974. The products are exported to 90<br />
countries. The current production capacity is<br />
600000 targets per day.<br />
