Do all performance indicators have the same weight?
Each performance indicator has a certain “weight” according to its importance, which
serves to encourage the providers to give more attention to indicators that have nationwide
impact, such as family planning and immunization. The weights are as follows.

How would performance indicators maintain the equity for private/nongovernmental
organization patient and Ministry of Health and Population patients?
The performance indicators are used at the primary health facilities in the pilot
governorates to evaluate the staff for the monthly incentive. The HSRP is strongly interested
in using the same indicators in both private and public facilities to maintain equity for the
public health facility patient and the private or nongovernmental organization health facility
patient.
Is the Family Health Fund capable of undertaking a cost and price analysis prior to
negotiations?
Through the Research Unit at the Family Health Fund, several studies have been
conducted to estimate the cost of services per visit and the average number of visit per family.
