Preface
Ministry of Health and Population is currently implementing the Health Sector Reform
Programme policy by providing primary health care for all Egyptians through the concept of
Family Physician. The ministry is effecting this policy by the separation between service
provision and its financing, in cooperation with the private sector and NGOs.
The two parties have agreed on:
Item 1: Second Party should provide primary health care services for the individuals related
to First Party through obtaining an accreditation from the General Department of Quality in
MOHP and according to the standards issued concerning private and NGOs units (Attachment
1). This accreditation should remain valid during the contracting period and in case of
withdrawing this accreditation, this contract would be automatically invalid and void.
Item 2: Second Party should inform First Party of the names of all physicians and nurses
legally registered to provide primary health care services and who are clarified in Item (1) of
the contract.
Item 3: Second Party should inform First Party about any change of employees that may
occur within a maximum time limit of seven days from the change date.
Item 4: Second Party is committed to notify all its employees with the items and conditions of
this contract and to confirm the completion of this process to the First Party in writing.
Item 5: The primary health care services delivered by Second Party to individuals related to
First Party include services defined by MOHP Primary Health Care Services BBP, and
