deposit the fees of opening new files and 1/3 of the price of drugs to the fund on monthly
basis. A monthly report is to be provided to the fund as well.
Item 14: First Party should provide medications according to the Essential Drug List of the
programme. Second Party is committed to follow the rules and regulations for drugs
prescription systems according to the Programme’s special regulation (Attachment 11) and
(Attachment 13). Dispensing drugs is applicable only for those registered who paid for the
opening of files and are listed in the fund. Violations to this rule will be penalized by
collecting the violation fee and informing the authorized legal authority.
Item 15: This contract is valid during the period of accreditation and will be renewed
automatically with the authorization renewal from the General Department of Quality in
Ministry of Health and Population, unless any of the two parties are informed otherwise 3
months before end of contract.
Item 16: First Party is committed to pay the sum of LE ….. in return for an annual service
provision of medical service for each registered beneficiary (who has paid for opening the
file) in the unit / centre (of the Second Party).
Item 17: Payments are succeeded on four terms quarterly per year, such that each term will be
paid as follows:
• 50 % of the term in return for contracting (Flat Rate)
• Remaining 50% in return for service performance, based on quality and performance
indicators defined in FHF (First Party) (Attachment 12 of Performance Indicators).
Item 18: Second Party is committed to facilitate the processes of reviewing for the evaluation
and monitoring department affiliated to First Party on monthly basis. They are also committed
to all the policies and work procedures of HSRP and any modification or updates that may
become valid (Attachment 6).
Item 19: Second Party is committed to establish a Costing Unit to monitor the actual cost of
service. They are also committed to provide any data to the costing unit of the fund to
exchange information and data related to this cost (Attachment 10).
Item 20: Family folders are considered a private property of the Family Health Fund. They
are kept at the centre in a safe and confidential location. The fund has the right to review them
whenever needed and without any objection from Second Party.
In case of end of contract for any particular reason, Second Party is obliged to deliver all the
folders that he has and all the data available in the Family Health Fund immediately after the
end of contract, while keeping all data and information confidential. In case the Second
Party’s abstention, Second Party has to pay for a penalty of paying the sum of LE 100,000 for
temporary compensation until all legal procedures are taken against him for violating
trusteeship.
