ABS is a thermoplastic copolymerisate made from acrylonitrile,<br />
butadiene and styrene monomers. Using different<br />
combinations of these monomers, wide-ranging different<br />

Summary<br />
TECARAN ABS is harder and more scratch-proof than PET<br />
and POM but with lower thermal stability. <strong>The</strong> characteristics<br />
of the basic ABS type offer wide scope for modification<br />
by varying the proportion of components. By modifying<br />
with PC and PBT, a wide variety of tough, impact resistant<br />

types can be created, primarily for injection moulding.<br />
