TECAFINE PP: large-sized chemistry apparatus, acid-proof<br />

construction and acid baths, valves, galvanizing apparatus,<br />

pickling and etching baths, low-temperature exhaust gas<br />

flues, filter plates for filter presses, waste water plants,<br />

waste water piping systems, fittings made of extruded<br />

semi-finished products, transport crates for food, filter<br />

components, fittings, containers, food processing plants<br />

exposed to high levels of thermal and chemical stress. Used<br />

in large-format press platens with low warpage and good<br />

welding properties for chemical plants manufactured using<br />

daylight presses. TECAPRO MT: biocompatible material<br />

for use in medical technology, trays for the cleaning,<br />

sterilization and storage of different medical devices and<br />

components used in medical applications, simple handles,<br />

certain geometry adaptation models, body contact plates for<br />

mammography.<br />

Summary<br />

<strong>The</strong> main difference between TECAFINE PP and TECAPRO<br />

MT is that TECAPRO MT is based on specially heat-stabilized<br />

PP homopolymer. This allows it to resist higher thermal<br />

stress during extended tempering, resulting in a more<br />

stress-relieved product and reducing the tendency to warp<br />

as a result of repeated super-heated steam sterilization.<br />

Easy to machine into dimensionally stable lightweight<br />

components.<br />
