ATTACHMENT 2 WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT — ASSET OVERVIEW CONDITION OF CHANNELS Business As Usual 3 Year Projected 10 Year Projected Comments Open Channel drainage assets function to manage stormwater within the standard stormwater design capacity whilst minimising impact to property and the environment. Condition data for Open Channels is not current. A key challenge is the ongoing collection of condition data in order to provide a clearer picture of asset condition. Response Develop and implement programs of inspection and renewal for drainage assets (subject t available funding) Implement floodplain risk management plans (FRMP). Confidence in Data: HIGH MODERATE LOW A FRMP follows on from a study of the overall catchment and identifies actions to target particular risk areas or locations identified in the Floodplain Study . 23
